Summer can be a great time for both you and your Newfie, but the hot weather can be dangerous for dogs. Dogs can suffer from heat exhaustion and heatstroke just like humans.

Water sprays out of the mat, creating a fun play area for your dog. Splash pads are a great option for dogs that love to play in the water but may not enjoy jumping in a pool.
Like with dog pools, it is important to choose the right size splash pad for your Newf. Make sure the splash pad is large enough for your dog to move around on comfortably. You also want to make sure the materials used in the splash pad are durable and won’t easily be destroyed by dog teeth or toenails.

Our favorite way to use a sprinkler it to put it on top of a fence post so the water cools a larger area.

When choosing a sprinkler for your dog you want to make sure the water stream is not too strong and will not be intimidating to your dog. You also want to choose a sprinkler that is easy to set up and use.

These toys are designed to be filled with water and frozen, creating a fun, icy treat for your dog to enjoy. Popular ice toys include popsicles or pupsicles, ice cubes, and frozen treats.
